In honor of our recent global launch, we’re highlighting seven audiobook narrators from around the world who bring authenticity and passion to the stories they read. Read on to learn more about these narrators and dive into audiobook samples!


Vikas Adam

Vikas was born in Canada and has lived in various parts of the United States, Canada, and India. He is an experienced narrator who has worked on a wide range of audiobooks, including classics like A Passage To India, and children’s books like the Kitty Corn series.

Simon Vance

Simon Vance started his narration career while working as a BBC Radio presenter and newsreader in London. Since, he’s narrated over a thousand audiobooks, won the Golden Voice Award, seventy-two AudioFile Earphone Awards, and sixteen Audie Awards!

Jennifer Lim

Jennifer is a native of Hong Kong and trilingual in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Her narration for The Island For Sea Women was described as “clear and sensitive portrayals, complete with believable accents” by AudioFile. She is most noted for her performance in the Broadway show Chinglish.

Nneka Okoye

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Nneka has acted in TV series such as Halo, Riches, and Worzel Gummidge and is fluent in English and Igbo. “Okoye’s theatrical credentials do her credit, as the listener can easily envision all these characters onstage,” says AudioFile.

Humphrey Bower

Humphrey Bower is an Australian actor who has worked extensively in theater, television and audiobook narration, even winning an Audie award for The Family Frying Pan. He’s well-known for his capacity to perform a variety of accents.

Adjoa Andoh

Adjoa Andoh is a British actress with experience on stage, screen, and radio (you may recognize her as Lady Danbury in Bridgerton!). She was inducted as AudioFile‘s Golden Voice in 2022 and has won multiple Earphone Awards across different genres.

Meera Syal

Meera Syal is a British-Indian actress and writer, best known for starring in Goodness Gracious Me and The Kumars at Number 42. She has also narrated various audiobooks for BBC Radio.
