Like our beloved booksellers, libraries, librarians, and library workers play a powerful role in helping more people read and supporting local communities. This Library Lovers Month and beyond, let’s show them our support!
Between February 23-28, 2026, when you donate $15 USD or more in support of public libraries, you’ll receive a free Libro.fm audiobook credit. Just follow the steps below!

How it works
Between February 23 and 28, 2026…
Step 1
Donate $15 USD or more directly to your public library*, your local friends of the public library organization (ask your librarian!), or the American Library Association (ALA).
Step 2
Make sure to request and save your receipt, showing your name and/or email, the amount donated, the date, and the organization’s name.
Step 3
Upload your receipt—PDF or JPEG are accepted–at the form below by March 1, 2026, 11:59 PM PT.
Step 4
We’ll email you your free audiobook credit from hello@libro.fm by EOD (PT) March 6, 2026.
*Not all public libraries accept monetary donations. In this case, we encourage you to ask your librarian whether they have a friends of the library group to contribute to. Donations must be monetary. For example, book donations are not eligible for this promotion.
The fine print
This offer is open internationally to folks 18 years and older. Donations must be made as outlined above—only public libraries, friends of the public library organizations, and the American Library Association are eligible. Private libraries and school libraries, for example, are not.
Make sure to complete the form, including proof of purchase, by March 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT, to receive your credit. Donation receipts are accepted, as well as screenshots of completed donations, that show date, amount, name and/or email, and organization’s name. Credits will be emailed out from hello@libro.fm by EOD March 6, 2026.
While you are welcome to donate more than $15 or to multiple places, only one audiobook credit will be given per individual. Multiple submissions using the same email address will only receive one credit.
Support your libraries all year long
Public libraries offer so much more than just free books (although that in and of itself is amazing). They are community hubs buzzing with events, workshops, and all types of resources, and play a vital role in building access to education. Most programs are completely free and open to everyone!
We can also support them by fighting book bans and defending access to reading materials.
