Celebrating Libraries Everywhere!
Between April 6-12, we raised $55,000 in support for public libraries, all thanks to your help!
The American Library Association’s official theme for 2025’s National Library Week was “Drawn to the library,” showcasing the many reasons folks love visiting—and what’s there not to love?

Thank you for donating to our National Library Week fundraiser!
Just like our beloved indie bookshops, libraries play an essential role in our communities. They need our support to ensure they can keep offering free resources, learning spaces, and much more. And because of your help, we raised over $55,000 for public libraries across the United States!
Folks who donated $15 or more to a public library between April 6-12 and submitted their receipts by April 18 will receive a Libro.fm audiobook credit by April 25.
Questions? Email hello@libro.fm.
Must be in the U.S. and 18+ to participate. Make sure to complete the form below, including proof of purchase, by April 18, 2025, at 5 PM PT, to receive your credit. Credits will be emailed out from hello@libro.fm by April 25, 2025.
While you are welcome to donate more than $15 or to multiple places, only one audiobook credit will be given per individual. Multiple submissions using the same email address will only receive one credit. Donation receipts as PDFs are accepted, as well as screenshots of donations that show date, amount, and email.
Support your libraries all year long
Public libraries offer so much more than just free books (although that in and of itself is amazing). They are community hubs buzzing with events, workshops, and all types of resources, and play a vital role in building access to education. Most programs are completely free and open to everyone!
Check out our blog post featuring ways to support them all year long.
Take action to fight book bans
The future of libraries and the freedom to read are at stake. We can all play a role in defending access to reading materials.
How do librarians and booksellers work together?
We asked librarians and booksellers to share why libraries and indies are vital to their local community and how they collaborate. Check out our video series!
