On Wednesday, January 8th, Libro.fm launched Bookstore Link. When someone links to a book on Bookstore Link, the reader chooses their independent bookstore and is connected to that bookstore’s website to make their purchase. The best part? The Bookstore keeps 100% of each book sale.
Bookstores, influencers, and authors showed their support by helping us spread the word on launch day. Read on for some of the highlights including a Q&A with Forbes about Libro.fm and Bookstore Link.

Forbes interviewed Libro.fm co-founder and CEO Mark Pearson about why Bookstore Link was created and how it will help independent bookstores.
“We’ve always believed that when independent bookstores thrive, so do the communities they serve. While the growth of audiobook sales through local bookstores continues to grow, we also saw the continued challenges that bookstores face, and felt compelled to do even more to support the growth and success of our partner bookstores.”
Mark Pearson, co-founder and CEO of Libro.fm
