What are ALCs?

ALC stands for Advanced Listening Copy, which publishers provide at no charge to qualifying book lovers in the hopes that they’ll read and promote upcoming audiobooks. Here at, we offer ALCs to qualifying educators, librarians, booksellers, and influencers.

The audiobooks offered on a monthly basis are tailored to each group and handpicked from publisher nominations. We believe in promoting not only the audiobooks that everyone’s buzzing about, but also in uplifting marginalized voices within the publishing industry. We know that educators and librarians are often doing the work within their communities to help people read more diversely, and we’re excited to further facilitate that through our ALC program!

  1. Hi,

I just signed up for ALC as I was referred by a colleague at my school. I’m super grateful for this free resource. A question I’m wondering is if there is a way to access previous titles. Specifically, my colleague loved listening to Stamped, as featured in a prior month. Is there a way for me to access this title for free with my teacher account?

  2. I am a high school librarian. My question is how do I get access to the audiobooks to our students? Thank you!
