We’re proud to introduce our brand new ALC Program for educators and librarians! We want to thank these groups for the roles they play in their communities and spread awareness about how audiobooks can be purchased through independent bookstores.
Libro.fm is the first audiobook company to make it possible for you to buy audiobooks directly through your local bookstore. We provide a way for people to support their community regardless of location and the time constraints of modern life. When you shop local and support your bookstore through Libro.fm audiobooks, you’re putting money back into your community.
These new programs stem from the great success of our bookseller ALC program. Libro.fm has been providing booksellers with complimentary ALCs for years, making it easier for them to read more books and provide great recommendations to their customers. Though these new ALC programs will be different in both the selection size and the specific audiobooks featured, we hope to accomplish the same thing for teachers and librarians.
The audiobooks available will be tailored to each group, handpicked from publisher nominations each month. We believe that offering free audiobooks will increase bookstore sales of both the audiobooks and the print books of featured titles.
If you are a K-12 teacher or teach in higher education, you are eligible for the educator ALC list. You’ll receive a half dozen audiobooks that publishers think you’ll want to use in your classroom or recommend to parents and students.
American Library Association (ALA) individual and organization members are eligible for the librarian ALC list. The monthly list will help inform your buying decisions of audiobooks, print, and eBooks.
