My name is Paola Merrill, and I am a bookseller at Village Books in Bellingham, Washington. I love Libro and am currently enjoying the audiobooks my parents gifted me last Christmas. I had an experience yesterday that made me realize on an entirely new level what great work you are doing. I wanted to share since I think it is very important!
I helped a woman named Maria [name changed] start her own Libro.fm account and download “The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?” by Rick Warren. Maria has severe cerebral palsy and literally cannot hold a physical book, yet she wanted to support her local community instead of subscribing to Audible. I told her about Libro.fm and she was beyond excited. We got her squared away and listening to the book she wanted.
