Thanks for celebrating Real People Monday with Libro.fm!

Thanks to YOU, Libro.fm’s Real People Monday was a huge success! We saw so many people showing love for their local booksellers on social media. Plenty of people who’d never even heard of Libro.fm are now members. (We had a record number of new memberships AND referrals.) Most importantly, got to celebrate the amazing booksellers that make your communities so unique and wonderful. Thank you for being a part of the movement to support independent bookstores through Libro.fm!

All the things a bookseller is, according to East City Bookshops awesome chalkboard:

Mackenzi Lee, bookseller and author of the Montague Siblings series, shared the audiobook and Libro.fm love:

“Audiobooks have changed my life. As a kid with attention issues, they were the medium that made me a reader, and as an author, they are the most satisfying way to see my work interpreted. They’re how I read. They are how I interact with stories. And, as an independent bookseller and general small business supporter, I am so glad I have a way to access them that gives back to my community.”

When asked what she loves most about bookselling, Jill Blanchette of Bank Square Books and Savoy Bookshop & Cafe said,

“I love people that love books. I love the customers. Truly that’s what is most important.”

Ashley (_shelflove_) shared this awesome video featuring Libro.fm partner store BookMarks:

Do you have an intense audiobook dependency? We’re enablers (in the best way).

We’re all about making sure everyone connected to Libro.fm has ALL the warm fuzzy feelings.

Main Street Books celebrated all the real people they serve and said,

“Real people is what a brick-and-mortar bookstore is all about.”

We love the honesty. Rack up those referrals! (P.S. You can always refer friends to Libro.fm)

Raven Bookstore, coming in hot with all the best ways to celebrate Cyber Monday:

Libro.fm Listening Squad member Hannah (@booknerdnative) shared her love of Quail Ridge Books:

“There’s something so serene and comforting about walking into an independently owned bookstore, where the shelves have been loved and touched by book dragons like myself.”

The holidays are a hugely important time for bookstores—they make or break their year. When you purchase or gift Libro.fm audiobooks, you help deliver revenue to local bookstores, as profits from Libro.fm sales are split with partner stores. Join the movement and gift audiobooks this holiday season.
