Thanks for celebrating Real People Monday with!

Thanks to YOU,’s Real People Monday was a huge success! We saw so many people showing love for their local booksellers on social media. Plenty of people who’d never even heard of are now members. (We had a record number of new memberships AND referrals.) Most importantly, got to celebrate the amazing booksellers that make your communities so unique and wonderful. Thank you for being a part of the movement to support independent bookstores through!

Mackenzi Lee, bookseller and author of the Montague Siblings series, shared the audiobook and love:

“Audiobooks have changed my life. As a kid with attention issues, they were the medium that made me a reader, and as an author, they are the most satisfying way to see my work interpreted. They’re how I read. They are how I interact with stories. And, as an independent bookseller and general small business supporter, I am so glad I have a way to access them that gives back to my community.”

When asked what she loves most about bookselling, Jill Blanchette of Bank Square Books and Savoy Bookshop & Cafe said,

“I love people that love books. I love the customers. Truly that’s what is most important.”
